What information must I give to coordinate my medical appointment?
To coordinate a medical appointment you must give the following information:
- Complete name (as it appears on your passport or official ID)
- Current address
- Date of birth
- Telephone number (include country and city code)
- E-mail address
A description of your medical condition along with the preferred date for the appointment
In case of not having a specific Doctor, can the International Patient Service suggest one?
Yes, our team of nurses can suggest various specialized Doctors depending on the medical information you have provided us.
What medical documents or information should I take to Chile?
Once our nurses get in contact with you, they will guide you in relation to what information you should bring for your medical care.
Will I be informed about the medical costs for my treatment before I travel to Chile?
Yes, International Patient Service can send you a budget estimate of the medical attention that you might need. For that purpose, it is necessary to know the medical attention that will be required and a medical order.
I don’t speak Spanish, how will I receive medical care in Clinica Alemana?
The International Patient Service staff has bilingual nurses (Spanish/ English) that are your point of contact since the first stages of your medical care coordination, until the end of your stay or medical attention.
Does Clínica Alemana offer some health insurance for international patient?
No, Clinica Alemana does not offer any type of health insurance for foreigners.
Does Clínica Alemana accept International Health Insurances?
Yes, Clinica Alemana accepts a wide range of international health insurances. Ask for this information to your contact nurse.
